Licorice American Adult - Adoption, Rescue for sale in Wahpeton, North Dakota

Licorice was found by Colonial Rental on a chilly day, so we rescued her and brought her back to our shelter. Licorice wasn't friendly with us until we got a large gate for her to run around in, and now she lets us pet her! We're so glad that Licorice just needed some room to stretch her legs to be a happy gal! It is vital that Licorice has room to run and explore, otherwise she will be a crabby rabbit who boxes with and bites any fingers that enter her cage. We'll feed Licorice all the healthy food (kale, bok choy, pea pods, apples, oranges, etc.) but she will literally scream for carrots all day long! We've learned that carrots are like candy for small, furry animals, so Licorice gets fed carrots as a treat. She is such a picky bunny! She's interesting to watch! If we had a tube large enough for Licorice to hop inside, we bet she would love that! Licorice seems fine with the cats lying on top of her cage and peering in on her while she's in the large gated cage. We keep Licorice apart from the other bunnies and do not know how she would be with other rabbits or other animals besides cats. Licorice is spayed and she knows how to use the litter box! If you would like Licorice to be a part of your family, please come and visit our shelter! For more information, please call the Humane Society of Richland - Wilkin Counties at .
